Roman Blinds are an elegant and popular alternative to curtains. They are supplied fully-lined and corded with an aluminium headrail. The lining offers the material that extra "body" and also helps to protect it from fading. The lining is available in standard light-blocking material, or blackout materials (depending on the amount of darkness you require).
There is a huge variety of designer fabrics available (your Simply Blinds representative will be able to show you samples) which combine the subtle textures of soft fold fabrics with the practicality of a window blind. Such materials can create a dramatic effect on the decoration of any room, as shown by the fantastic image (above).
